Exclusive Scoop: The future and fate of Marvel’s upcoming animated series have already been decided!

Dear Marvelites, as fans of Super Hero animations, how many times have we been let down when our favorite shows are cancelled from out of the blue? How many times have we blamed Marvel (or DC) for killing a great show, or renewing a horrible one? While it is always easy to blame networks and show runners, the real deciding factor for the continuation or demise of an animated show are toys toys and more toys.

KEY ART

Now that we have gotten some facts out of the way let me start with Avengers Assemble. Marvel’s upcoming animated series is looking great, according to our sources. The show is not only been talked about, positively, inside and outside Marvel but Toy retailers have showed a big demand for the show’s action figures, which led Marvel to order a second season for the show before it even debuted. This is the same thing that happened with Ultimate Spider-Man (regardless of how Marvel looked like they made the decision because of the great ratings). So expect Avengers Assemble to run for at least 2 seasons, but word has it that we might, finally, get more than 52 episodes, which means higher chances (or more likely hope) for more than two seasons. Don’t expect to hear the official second season announcement until few weeks after the show’s premiere.

Now let’s talk about Hulk and the Agents of SMASH. Unlike avengers Assemble, the negative reaction the show has been getting from both inside and outside Marvel made the company very cautious about ordering two seasons at the same time. A matter that has gotten only worse, by the low, to non existent, demand Toy companies have showed regarding the license. For these two reasons, Hulk and the Agents of SMASH will run for only one season. Unless of course, a miracle happens and all major toy companies waved their money at marvel to make thousands of action figures for the show, Hulk and the Agents of SMASH is pretty much dead on arrival. But of course, don’t expect Marvel to announce that or even admit it. In fact, you probably won’t hear about it until after the end of the first season, Which brings me to an interesting tidbit.

There are two things i couldn’t confirm: The first thing is that i heard that Hulk and the agents of SMASH season 1 will only run for 13 episodes, and not 26. I will update this story as soon as i confirm the truth about this info.

The second thing i am trying to confirm, is the show that will take Hulk and the agents of SMASH slot. Remember that there is an Iron-Man Animated series in the works? (still trying to confirm this)

I am also trying to get some news regarding Ultimate Spider-Man and it’s future. So stay tuned and make sure to subscribe to our Twitter account.

While our previous scoops have all pretty much been spot on(except the potential new X-men Animated series, which will eventually happen maybe even sooner than later), i suggest to still label this info as rumors to be safe, as i am not a Marvel insider myself, but someone who has his sources and like to share the info with the fans.
